Achievement Gap: Issues and Answers© engages today’s educators in a compelling, one-day professional learning experience proven to help participants discover how to measurably improve equity, academic performance and high school completion.
Abundant data demonstrates that every member of the school community has a role in promoting a culture of learning, achievement, commencement, and post-secondary success, thereby fulfilling the civic purpose of public education for all students. Whether a school seeks to increase elementary and middle level performance on high stakes tests, graduation rates, advanced placement participation, parent involvement, or participation of students with disabilities in your general education program, this program will respond to your issues and offer practical, ready-to-use answers.
This program helps education professionals plan strategies to create socially, emotionally, and intellectually safe school cultures that are academically rigorous for all students across all demographic characteristics. NCLB, IDEA, and ever evolving local, national, and global conditions impact people and policy from the most local level all the way up to our national and international security. The challenges we face as a nation and in the world serve to enhance the critical urgency of closing the achievement gaps that keep our students and our society from experiencing the greatest possible safety and success.
